Bauhaus to Launch The Spot

Bauhaus to Launch The Spot

Magazine-Style Program Features Puro San Antonio

A new lifestyle program being developed by Bauhaus Media will utilize the social media reach of The Current to reach almost 1.5 million active San Antonians every week. The program emulates the content focus of The Current, but with unique content. Segments will feature Politics, Cooking, Entertainment, Culture and Street Talk.

The concept developed by executive producer Michael Chartier, has recruited the talent of veteran newsman Gary Cooper and a fresh young face from South Texas Danielle Ojeda, who is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University and interned at KENS-TV 5 with Bauhaus executive producer Luis Munoz.

The genius of this new program, which features all things San Antonio, is the distribution to 600,000 Current online readers, 160,000 of their Facebook followers, 135,000 Twitter followers, another 128,000 Instagram users, and 60,000 email subscribers. Additionally, sponsors will get exposure to the Current’s 272,000 print readers. The Spot will also appear weekly on broadcast television in the San Antonio market.

Sponsorships are still available for segments, including The Community Report, What’s Cookin’, What’s Your Issue?, The Spot Entertainment, and Street Talk with Gary Cooper. Sponsors will be featured in the 30-minute broadcast program and with their segment in the weekly social media pushes.

While the pilot episode of The Spot is going through final edit revisions, the program is expected to launch this fall. Like or follow The Current to make sure you are among the first to see The Spot. And if you have ideas for who or what to feature in our segments, reach out to info@bauhausmedia.com
