Connecting the Dots

One of the great things about this electronic age is that so many people are doing creative things, making creative content for the many online and streaming services. At Bauhaus Media, we were fortunate to have a colleague refer an interesting gentleman who wants to create a program about his consulting business. He’s providing raw video that we are editing into a pilot program.

Philippe Bouissou, PhD, is a Frenchman, living in Palo Alto, CA. He is CEO of Blue Dots Partners LLC and author of “Aligning the Dots,” a best-selling book that is the basis for his television program, where he will work with actual business owners to grow their businesses by improving business practices and utilizing “alignment” theories.

In the pilot program, Bouissou works with Taylor Smith, CEO and Co-Founder of Blueboard Inc, a San Francisco-based firm that helps large companies reward their employees with memorable and meaningful experiences. “We believe in challenging our comfort zones, indulging in our passions, and experiencing new things,” Smith said. “We empower people to do this through experiences.”

Blueboard works with companies like Eventbrite, Optimizely, GoPro, Rodan & Fields, and Astex Pharmaceuticals. “Think skydiving for the first time, going to your first World Series game, or learning how to perform standup comedy,” Smith said. “Check out the coverage we got in Venture Beat and how we helped Libby from AppDynamics become James Bond for a day.”

Producer Rick Tocquigny of Lafayette, CO, is CEO and Co-Founder of Artbeat Media and Gracefully Yours Greeting Cards. He is also a producer with Faith Gateway who has hosted blogs on Life Lessons, Transformed Traveler and CEO in 10. As a man of many talents, Tocquigny thinks he has a hit with Bouissou’s business alignment program. And we are enjoying being along for the ride. It’s somewhat reminiscent of the times when Bauhaus had studios in Los Angeles and was heavily vested in the Hollywood Film business.
